Since the Bluefin bite has been 100 miles out and weather less than ideal, we’ve been concentrating on
local fishing and lobster hooping. We managed to get on some kelps that were holding smaller grade
yellowtail and put a small dent in the population. Lobster fishing has been very productive even though
there have been a lot undersized, but a few monsters mixed in as well. If you haven’t tried them yet you are
missing out on these delicious critters. Starting to see some signs of closer tuna so we will likely be
investigating that soon. And lastly we are getting our swordfish gear dialed in, and I am anxious to post a
photo of one of these bad boys. We will be adding deep drop swordfish to our line up!
